5th Annual Advances in Neurology for the Practicing Provider

Milwaukee, WI US
August 5, 2022

This program is designed to meet the needs of primary care providers, including family medicine specialists, nurse practitioners, internists, pediatricians and community-based neurologists. We educate community-based clinicians on the best approaches to sift through patient complaints in order to accurately diagnose and deliver timely care for patients with neurologic complaints. In partnership with the Department of Neurology Annual Headache CME symposium, we will be highlighting topics surrounding special populations with neurological disorders. The conference will focus on specific issues pertinent to pediatric, pregnant and peripartum women and elderly patient populations. The workshop will also feature approaches of several specialist providers with extensive experience caring for these patient populations. Each speaker will share their respective insights, approaches to assessing the patient, ordering diagnostic testing, determining decision points for referral and presenting evidence-based therapeutic recommendations suitable for the community setting.
