Marrow Harvest Master Class Presented by the Marrow Collection Program Alliance of the NMDP
COURSE OVERVIEW
Successful cellular therapy outcomes crucially depend on the quality of the marrow harvest product. In this Marrow Harvest Master Class, we will discuss essential elements of the cellular therapy product collection procedure and speak to marrow harvest experts to learn their best practices. Breakout sessions hosted by members of the Marrow Alliance will be available for attendees to ask questions or get more detailed information about topics covered in the program. Participants will walk away with the tools they need to ensure that every bone marrow harvest is as successful as it can be.
ABOUT THE MARROW ALLIANCE
The Marrow Collection Program Alliance represents an opportunity to work closely with high-performing marrow collection centers dedicated to the collection of high-quality products for patients and transplant centers. Partners will share data, develop best practices, and further develop marrow harvesting techniques for all marrow collection centers. This will be highly collaborative work that includes the development of educational materials, training tools, and resources for all marrow collection centers to use to improve their processes. Our end goal is to increase the number of products collected that meet the threshold for high quality based on patient weight, all while providing an excellent experience for donors.
