Session 8: Genetic Counseling

Faculty Bio: 

Jenny Geurts, MS, CGC is the Genetic Counseling Program Director in the Institute for Health & Equity at MCW.  She has been practicing cancer genetic counseling over the past 14+ years with an emphasis in pancreatic and endocrine disease.  She also serves as the Associate Director of Genetic Counseling for the Genomic Sciences & Precision Medicine Center.

  • This course will discuss the construction of family pedigrees, factors influencing phenotype and inheritance patterns, and informed decision-making in genetic counseling.
