3rd Annual Oncology Survivorship in Primary Care

This one-day program is designed to provide primary care physicians with education about cancer survivorship and foster opportunities for care collaboration. This forum will identify strategies for best care of this patient population and lay a foundation toward a dedicated team.

Learning Objectives

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to: 

  • Identify key late adverse effects of cancer treatments, and describe options for appropriate surveillance and preventative care.
  • Describe palliative care approaches to symptom management for patients surviving with advanced cancer.  
  • Describe the top 3 concerns of sexual health in cancer survivors (male and female), and discuss management options.
