Weekly conference during academic year (Sept-May) to highlight updates and changes to best practice of internal medicine and its subspecialties.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Identify and describe the necessary information for an accurate diagnosis of Celiac disease
  • Identify the common clinical presentation of celiac disease
  • Describe the mechanism of gluten in causing intestinal inflammation in the setting of Celiac disease
  • Review what compromise a food allergy (wheat allergy)
  • Identify the diagnosis of non-celiac gluten sensitivity and how to manage these patients
