Drs. Owen and Cipriano will participate in a panel discussion on how to share news about suicide. They will also discuss some of the considerations to be mindful of when sharing this news.

Dr. Pheister and other clinicians (Drs. Agrawal, Miller, Schneider, and Graft) will lead small groups describing their experiences in losing a patient to suicide. They will discuss the emotional aftermath, how they managed this, who they reached out to for support, interactions with the system or with the patient's family.

If you wish to claim CE credit (i.e., obtain a certificate for AMA, APA, or Hours of Participation showing you attended 3.5 hours worth of CME), the cost to register will be $26. This cost is made up of the certificate fee, CE credentialing fee, and the payment processing fee. The cost displayed for this will show $25, but there will be $1 added at checkout, which covers the remaining fees mentioned above. This helps us continue to offer the symposium this year and for future ones. Please select General Registration if you want CE credit hours.
