19th Annual Diabetes and Metabolic Disease Symposium of Wisconsin
- Diagnosing the stages of type 1 diabetes to be able to use new medications approved for the prevention of type 1 diabetes.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans by using a variety of new continuous glucose monitors
- Managing acute and chronic complications of diabetes (e.g., dyslipidemia, coronary disease).
- Communicating effectively with patients and their families regarding diabetes self-management (we will be focusing on employees this year)
- Utilizing the latest evidence-based guidelines and technologies in diabetes care. With talks like year-in-review and updates on annual guidelines, our attendees will have cutting-edge information on diabetes management.
