Program Description: 

Clinical trials are the basis for evidence-based treatment of glaucoma patients. Trial have been conducted in determining whom to treat, when to treat and how to treat.  This presentation will review recent clinical trials and demonstrate how to apply the result of the trials to patients in clinic.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to: 

  • Understand recent glaucoma trial results and understand the main conclusion 
  • Learn how to incorporate results of clinical practice into day to day patient care 
  • Distinguish limitations, contraindication and side effect profiles of glaucoma therapies
