37th Annual Midwinter Retina Symposium: New Horizons in Retina
This course will describe the latest technological advances and breakthroughs in the areas of retina, gene therapy, stem cell, advanced imaging and other clinical and surgical topics, and how they can best be applied to clinical practices.
Target Audience
This educational activity is aimed at practicing ophthalmologists, subspecialty ophthalmologists, fellows, residents, optometrists, medical students, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, vision scientists and retina photographers.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this activity, I will be able to:
- Describe the pathophysiology of ophthalmologic diseases, such as diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration in light of new information provided by recent clinical trials.
- Discuss new diagnostic and therapeutic modalities in ophthalmic patient care.
- Integrate information on quality improvement and advances in stem cell and gene therapy.

DIRECTIONS
The Medical College of Wisconsin is located on the campus of the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center in Milwaukee. The main entrance is located on 87th street, just south of Watertown Plank Road.
