Participants will be able to:
Educational Objective:
1) Describe the relevance of suicide prevention in pediatric patient populations.
2) Describe the relevance of suicide prevention in physicians.
3) Identify warning signs that an individual is at risk for suicide.
4) Confidently and comfortably apply the steps of Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) in response to identified warning signs.
5) Identify professional and personal limitations in addressing pediatric mental health needs.
6) Develop effective coping mechanisms and self-care for personal mental health.
