Specialists throughout the DOP help lead these sessions. The goal is to refresh key concepts that will be applicable to initial or recertification boards for Pediatric Hospital Medicine.

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Describe the distribution and usage trends of novel drugs of abuse
- Discuss the differences in pharmacology and distribution of these substances as compared to other abused substances
- Define the various categories of novel drugs of abuse as well as specific agents
- Provide general guidance of diagnosis and treatment of patients intoxicated with novel drugs of abuse
