Program Description: 

This is a multidisciplinary conference where we discuss an interesting and educational neurocritical case once a month. The conference has active participation from multiple disciplines including Critical Care, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Radiology etc.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Initiate new protocols and changes in practice and the progress of which are monitored at the monthly Neurocritical Care Working Group meetings.
  • Integrate current guidelines and treatment strategies that are recently published into our practice
  • Improve management protocols that are established and implemented by the Neurocritical Care Working Group.
  • Improve communication and understanding of management strategies amongst multiple subspecialities, including neurosurgery, neuroradiology, pediatric critical care, neurology
  • Enhance education of trainees in the field of Neurocritical Care using case-based discussions
  • Enhance teamwork
