Program Description: 

Join Society for Pediatric Urgent Care (SPUC) for weekly webinars designed to equip providers with knowledge of best practices for common Pediatric Urgent Care conditions. The goal is to foster a community of providers through academically rigorous, web-based lectures. This webinar series creates the infrastructure for Pediatric Urgent Care systems across the country for spreading ideas and learning from one another. In addition, the webinar series gives providers an ongoing opportunity to earn CME in topics specific to Pediatric Urgent Care.

ACCME Accreditation Statement:

The Medical College of Wisconsin is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMA Credit Designation Statement:

The Medical College of Wisconsin designates this for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Hours of Participation for Allied Health Care Professionals:
The Medical College of Wisconsin designates this activity for up to 1.0 hours of participation for continuing education for allied health professionals. 

Nurse Practitioner:
The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. is approved as a provider of nurse practitioner continuing education by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners: AANP Provider Number 150930. This program has been approved for up to 1.0 contact hours of continuing education (which includes 0.50 hours of pharmacology). Nurse Practitioners should claim only those hours actually spent participating in the CME activity.

MOC Part II

American Board of Pediatrics:

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity and individual assessment of and feedback to the learner, enables the learner to earn up to 1 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.

Participation shared with ABP through PARS:

Individual participants’ information will be shared with ABP through the ACCME Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS).

1.    How to interview children and adolescent who doesn’t want to participate in evaluation
2.    How to ask questions about Anxiety and depression by using developmentally appropriate language
3.    How to differentiate various childhood anxiety and depressive disorder
4.    How to identify and manage co-morbid psychiatric disorders
