Children’s Urgent Care seeks to provide best and safest care close to home. As group, we have 55+ providers treating patients at 7 sites on nights and weekends. As the group has grown, we have identified a need to standardize education and formalize competencies for pediatric urgent care providers. Throughout 2019 we have increased our collaboration with Pediatric Urgent Cares at major Pediatric Hospitals across the country in an effort to diversify our speakers and participants. The Urgent Care Webinar Series serves the education needs of physicians and advance-practice providers working in the Pediatric Urgent Care setting. The sessions are also open to Children’s Medical Group Primary Care providers seeking to enhance their competencies in the acute management of common ambulatory conditions.

- Identify the psychological impact of containment measures during epidemics.
- Outline initial research on the impact of COVID-19 containment measures on children and teens mental health.
- Identify sources of resilience, for children and teens, during COVID-19.
- Discuss key factors in supporting parents of children engaging in virtual schooling.
