Program Description:

Children’s Urgent Care seeks to provide best and safest care close to home. As group, we have 55+ providers treating patients at 7 sites on nights and weekends. As the group has grown, we have identified a need to standardize education and formalize competencies for pediatric urgent care providers. Throughout 2020 we have increased our collaboration with Pediatric Urgent Cares at major Pediatric Hospitals across the country in an effort to diversify our speakers and participants. The Urgent Care Webinar Series serves the education needs of physicians and advance-practice providers working in the Pediatric Urgent Care setting. The sessions are also open to Children’s Medical Group Primary Care providers seeking to enhance their competencies in the acute management of common ambulatory conditions.
