Program Description: 

Weekly multidisciplinary conference focused on a variety of pediatric urology topics including pediatric incontinence, congenital urinary anomalies, spina bifida, differences in sex development. Rotating modalities including didactic lectures, case-based presentations and journal clubs with frequent multidisciplinary collaboration from other specialties (i.e. pediatric endocrinology, pediatric surgery, pediatric nephrology, etc). Appropriate for pediatric subspecialists who provide care for children with simple and complex urologic anomalies.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Review statistical methods and evaluate whether outcomes support or refute hypothesis as well as whether the outcomes are applicable to practice setting. Evaluate the quality of newly published articles and their applicability to patient care and outcomes.
  • Discuss unique, complex, and difficult cases with focus on pathology to improve patient care in the future.
  • Review recent cases with complicated and interesting pathology components.
