Program Description: 

Pituitary Case Conference:  A collaboration among Endocrinology, Radiology, Pathology and Neurosurgery to discuss patients with sellar masses in more detail. This conference deals with post operative care, pathology reviews, pre-operative evaluation planning and follow up scheduling and planning.

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Apply coordinated endocrine and neurosurgical evaluation strategies to optimize preoperative and postoperative management of patients with pituitary neoplasms.
  • Analyze complex or atypical pituitary cases to develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans for patients with rare or unusual pituitary pathology.
  • Interpret key histopathologic and molecular markers to guide diagnostic testing and therapeutic planning in patients with pituitary neoplasms.
