This conference is intended to enhance the overall fund of knowledge required for the radiation oncologist to treat patients in all oncologic subspecialties and to inform the radiation oncologist on quality delivery of these technologies.

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
Describe current barriers that limit the effectiveness of radiation therapy in patients with head and neck cancer.
Interpret translational research findings from patient sample analyses evaluating the impact of radiation therapy on tumor antigen-specific immune responses.
Assess the potential implications of radiation-induced tumor antigen-specific lymphodepletion for treatment outcomes and resistance mechanisms in head and neck cancer.
Evaluate emerging therapeutic strategies and future research approaches aimed at overcoming radiation therapy resistance and improving patient outcomes.
