Program Description: 

This series focuses on determining and developing a comprehensive surgical treatment plan for patients with drug-resistant epilepsy. It is a comprehensive forum, often with members from Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, Neuropsychology, Psychiatry, and epilepsy nursing / support staff -- the experience is dynamic and interactive in formulating a consensus treatment plan.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

• Formulate a surgical plan for patients with drug-resistant epilepsy based upon analysis (and synthesis) of ancillary data, namely scalp EEG (and invasive EEG), PET / MR neuroimaging, MEG, Neuropsychology, fMRI, and clinical data, such as seizure semiology.
