Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
This course will review common eye injuries and infections that may be encountered in urgent care settings, including their proper treatment and referral protocol when appropriate. Topics will extend from anterior segment pathology to posterior segment pathology.
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
• Manage common anterior segment ocular conditions in the pediatric population.
• Manage ocular trauma in the pediatric population.
• Distinguish conditions as emergent or urgent and know proper referral protocol when appropriate.
