This weekly transplant service line lecture serves as an educational forum for team members, providing an opportunity to discuss a variety of clinical, surgical, and system-based topics relevant to transplant care. It promotes interdisciplinary learning, case-based discussions, and continuous improvement in patient management.

  • Analyze limitations of traditional cardiology morbidity and mortality (M&M) conferences that impede learning, accountability, and system-level improvement in clinical practice.
  • Evaluate contemporary M&M conference models to identify best practices that promote patient safety, team learning, and systems-based improvement in cardiology programs.
  • Apply structured M&M conference principles to drive quality initiatives and sustainable system-level change in cardiology care delivery.
