Program Description: 

This weekly transplant service line lecture serves as an educational forum for team members, providing an opportunity to discuss a variety of clinical, surgical, and system-based topics relevant to transplant care. It promotes interdisciplinary learning, case-based discussions, and continuous improvement in patient management.

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Define the role of dd-cfDNA as an injury biomarker and its place within the current transplant monitoring strategies. 
  • Interpret the diagnostic performance and limitations of dd-cfDNA across major studies and real-world settings. 
  • Integrate dd-cfDNA into clinical practice, including appropriate patient selection, interpretation of results and impact on biopsy decision-making.
