Program Description: 

This is a series of ongoing, quarterly educational presentations focused on unique back and neck care topics. The goal of this series is to provide greater awareness of the specialty services offered within the F&MCW network related to the spine and also sharing of best practices from specialty providers.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Describe common symptoms and signs of degenerative cervical myelopathy
  • Integrate current clinical guidelines for degenerative cervical myelopathy
  • Educate patients on potential surgical approaches and outcomes for degenerative cervical myelopathy
  • Educate patients on potential non-surgical interventions for degenerative cervical myelopathy
  • Review current research in DCM and future directions
