Program Description: 

This is a series of ongoing, quarterly educational presentations focused on unique back and neck care topics. The goal of this series is to provide greater awareness of the specialty services offered within the F&MCW network related to the spine and also sharing of best practices from specialty providers.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Identify unique pathophysiology pertaining to the cervical and lumbar spine and its impact on interventional and surgical treatment of radiculopathy
  • Review interventional/surgical options and key patient factors that contribute to decision-making in operative intervention.
  • Identify the options for fluoro-guided Interventional treatments for back/neck pain
  • Familiarize with multimodal evidence-based strategies for managing pain 
  • Review overall outcomes related to common surgical interventions for both cervical and lumbar radiculopathy
