Program Description: 

The ThedaCare Cardiology Educational Series is designed to enhance physician and clinician knowledge, competence, and performance in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular disease. This series provides evidence-based updates on a wide range of cardiovascular topics and integrates current guidelines, clinical trial data, and case-based discussions to translate research into practice, strengthen diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making, and improve patient outcomes.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Apply current evidence-based guidelines to the diagnosis and management of common cardiovascular conditions.
  • Differentiate between diagnostic modalities and therapeutic options to optimize individualized care for patients with cardiovascular disease.
  • Integrate emerging clinical trial data and novel therapies into practice to improve patient safety and outcomes.
  • Recognize cardiovascular risk factors and implement effective prevention strategies to reduce disease burden.
  • Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams to enhance coordination of care and improve quality of cardiovascular services.
