Learning Objectives

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Describe the multidisciplinary management, evaluation, and treatment of patients with kidney-related hyperparathyroidism
  • Recognize the symptoms and complications of primary hyperparathyroidism (pHPT)
  • Describe indications for surgery in patients with pHPT
  • Understand molecular testing results and pathology reporting for thyroid nodules
  • Describe the diagnosis and indications for surgery for patient with hypercortisolism
  • Participate in discussion of management of patients with advanced surgical endocrine disease, including advanced thyroid cancer and neuroendocrine tumors
