Learning Objectives
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Describe the multidisciplinary management, evaluation, and treatment of patients with kidney-related hyperparathyroidism
- Recognize the symptoms and complications of primary hyperparathyroidism (pHPT)
- Describe indications for surgery in patients with pHPT
- Understand molecular testing results and pathology reporting for thyroid nodules
- Describe the diagnosis and indications for surgery for patient with hypercortisolism
- Participate in discussion of management of patients with advanced surgical endocrine disease, including advanced thyroid cancer and neuroendocrine tumors
