2014 Fall Pancreatic Cancer Symposium
Neoadjuvant treatment sequencing can impact overall survival outcomes in early stage pancreatic cancer, however many patients are treated with surgery as the first intervention. In addition, therapeutic options for stage IV pancreatic cancer continue to evolve.
This symposium will be focused on discussing the rationale and evidenced based data to support neoadjvuant treatment sequencing for early-stage pancreatic cancer. Current chemotherapeutic regimens for advanced stage pancreatic cancer will be reviewed, and several novel ongoing clinical trials in pancreatic cancer will be discussed.
