4th Annual Solid Organ Transplantation Research Symposium
This educational symposium will showcase updates in the state of the art basic science and clinical/translational research works in organ transplantation and immunobiology by scientists and investigators from MCW, FH, CHW, BCW and other academic surgeons from regional transplant programs, who are qualified to report on up-to-date topics. Organ Transplantation is a durable life saving modality. Organ shortage in the United States is the principal limiting factor in the expansion of organ transplantation. There is a need for a multidisciplinary collaborative organ transplantation research to develop innovative strategies to a) Increase the number of transplantable organs and b) Improve patient outcomes after transplantation.
