Endocrine Surgery Symposium - Both Days

The Medical College of Wisconsin and University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Endocrine Surgery Symposium will be held on May 30 and 31, 2014 at the Medical College of Wisconsin's Alumni Center.

Purpose:
This educational activity is designed to highlight current issues in the management of disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glans through didactic lectures, panel discussions, and case presentations. Invited speakers include well-known academic surgeons who are well-published in their respective fields and who can provide up-to-date-summaries of the topics.

  • Discuss the management of patients with adrenal nodular disease and adrenal cancer

  • Discuss the treatment options and updated guidelines in the management of well-differentiated thyroid cancers

  • Discuss indications for genetic counseling in patients with adrenal disease
