Program Description: 

This is part 2 of a structured curriculum of perioperative TEE. The goal of the series is to promote the use of TEE in  daily practice. To achieve this a practitioner needs to know the theory behind echo, have exposure to different pathologies, be able to acquire the images, interpret them appropriately, guide his management to the findings and assess his interventions.

The curriculum incudes 6 2-hour lectures sessions that review the echocardiography basics and presents different pathologies along with 2 hands on simulation sessions.

Session 2 focuses on Aortic valve - HOCM - Basic Echo calculations
