Program Description: 

The APC Lecture Series is designed to enhance clinician competence, improve performance, and positively impact patient outcomes. Participants will gain competence by applying evidence-based guidelines and introducing them into day-to-day practice. The series promotes a culture of continuous improvement, peer-to-peer education, and patient-centered practice that integrates safety, quality, and best practices into daily clinical workflows

  • Apply updated prostate cancer screening criteria to streamline evaluation of prostate-related conditions and make appropriate urology referrals in clinical practice.
  • Evaluate patient-specific risk factors to engage in shared decision-making regarding prostate cancer screening in men eligible for screening.
  • Interpret prostate-specific antigen (PSA) results and related screening tests to determine appropriate follow-up, surveillance, or referral in clinical care settings.
