The APC Lecture Series is designed to enhance clinician competence, improve performance, and positively impact patient outcomes. Participants will gain competence by applying evidence-based guidelines and introducing them into day-to-day practice. The series promotes a culture of continuous improvement, peer-to-peer education, and patient-centered practice that integrates safety, quality, and best practices into daily clinical workflows

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Apply the 2023 ACRM diagnostic criteria to accurately diagnose concussion in patients with suspected mild traumatic brain injury.
  • Integrate the 2022 Concussion in Sport Group (CISG) consensus recommendations to guide concussion assessment and management decisions in clinical and sport-related care settings.
  • Interpret TRACK-TBI outcome data to inform follow-up planning and patient counseling after concussion.
  • Perform targeted cervical, vestibular, oculomotor, and exertional examinations to individualize rehabilitation planning for patients recovering from concussion.
