Physician leadership development programs are designed to equip physicians with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively lead in various healthcare settings. The Leadership Development Program will address the gap in traditional medical training, which often focuses primarily on clinical expertise and lacks formal leadership development.
Additionally, this program will improve organizational performance, enhance physician well-being, create a stronger leadership pipeline for physician executives, and empower these physicians by gaining a stronger voice in organizational decision

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
Attendees will collaboratively identify and define systemic issues within the ThedaCare, Inc. health system by conducting an analysis of care delivery, operational workflows, or patient outcomes, and developing a concise problem statement that incorporates organizational data, stakeholder perspectives, and alignment with system strategic priorities.
Attendees will work collaboratively with their peers to conduct a root cause analysis and identify high leverage interventions of a specific clinical or operational challenge and present system level interventions that align with ThedaCare, Inc.’s commitment to high-value care and continuous improvement.
Attendees will develop and present a leadership action plan to address a defined issue within the ThedaCare health system that demonstrates measurable results and educate peers on QOS principles and PDLA processes.
