26th Annual Perspectives in Urology: Point Counterpoint

The 26th Annual Perspectives in Urology: Point Counterpoint will bring together leading experts to discuss and debate the latest in diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing research in the field or urology. The conference will contain lectures, debates, case presentations, discussions, and interactive question and answer sessions. The use of cutting-edge audience response technology will allow for more fluent interaction among attendees, between attendees and speakers, and for more efficient exchange of knowledge within the symposium space.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for and will benefit primary care physicians, urologists, urologic oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and other health care professionals involved in the diagnosis and management of urologic diseases.

Learning Objectives

This educational initiative aims to reach primary care physicians, urologists, urologic oncologists, and nurses. Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Assess the growing use of biomarkers in genitourinary cancer detection
  • Debate and discuss best practices for diagnosis and management of prostate, bladder, and renal cancers
  • Integrate available hormonal, cytotoxic and immunotherapeutic agents for advanced and castration-resistant prostate cancer
  • Compare and contrast recent developments in genitourinary disease treatments that can impact patient quality-of-life outcomes
  • Evaluate the options for personalizing treatment
