Program Description: 

This conference will assure the most current and appropriate treatment plan for cancer patients presented at conference through a multidisciplinary discussion.  As new treatment modalities and clinical trials become available, this information is to be brought forth at the conference as options for the treatment plan. Most patients are presented prospectively.  Some patients are presented retrospectively to provide follow up information (previously presented patients). The cancer conference is offered to fulfil a standard of our comprehensive cancer care program

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the Medical College of Wisconsin and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - St. Francis. The Medical College of Wisconsin is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Learning objectives: 

Discuss cancer patients diagnosed through appropriate modalities

Illustrate appropriate treatment based on national guidelines (eg. NCCN) and   multidisciplinary discussion

Devise optional clinical trials appropriate for presented patients

Analyze information on the specific diagnosis, stage, treatment as it relates to NCCN  Guidelines, and prognosis.
