Program Description: 

WPA Grand Rounds series features a variety of topics in psychiatry. This virtual series occurs monthly on the the last Thursday of the month from 12pm-1pm CST.

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Describe the four primary domains of decisional capacity
  • Appreciate how the gravity of the decision (eg - risk:benefit ratio) can affect the determination of capacity
  • Identify situations that often lead to complex and contentious assessments of patient decisional capacity
