Program Description: 

WPA Grand Rounds series features a variety of topics in psychiatry. This virtual series occurs monthly on the last Thursday of the month from 12pm-1pm CST. 

Target audience: 
  • Physicians
Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Gain an increased awareness of how physical and psychological health risks have been exacerbated for women, especially those from minority backgrounds, in the US in the Dobbs era
  • Recognize how moral distress may affect the decision-making of healthcare providers and negatively impact patients
  • Identify that racial bias conditionally affects healthcare attitudes and healthcare delivery decisions through multiple indirect pathways
