Program Description: 

WPA Grand Rounds series features a variety of topics in psychiatry. This virtual series occurs monthly on the last Thursday of the month from 12pm-1pm CST.

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Describe the structure and purpose of Wisconsin’s community forensic programs—including the Conditional Release Program and outpatient/jail-based competency to stand trial services—and their roles within the state’s forensic continuum of care.
  • Analyze the intersection of psychiatric practice, legal mandates, and risk management within Conditional Release and CST contexts.
  • Identify evidence-informed and collaborative approaches to enhance competency restoration, treatment adherence, and community safety among forensic mental health populations
