WPA Grand Rounds series features a variety of topics in psychiatry. This virtual series occurs monthly on the last Thursday of the month from 12pm-1pm CST.

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Apply Wisconsin mandated reporting laws and ethical principles to determine when a report is required in cases involving parental substance abuse.
  • Recognize behavioral, physical, and contextual indicators associated with parental substance misuse that may necessitate mandated reporting.
  • Analyze case-based scenarios to strengthen critical thinking and documentation practices when evaluating suspected parental substance abuse.
  • Identify and address common barriers and misconceptions that delay or prevent timely mandated reporting in cases of parental substance abuse.
