Presentation of Research findings. Learning current research studies and findings to benefit clinical practice and patients. Also builds expertise in grant development and advance understanding of Pediatric Research.

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Describe common long‑term health complications associated with preterm birth, including growth, neurodevelopmental, and cardiometabolic outcomes.
  • Explain the physiologic and clinical factors that place preterm infants at risk for sodium depletion during early life.
  • Evaluate emerging evidence linking early‑life sodium depletion to long‑term health complications in preterm infants and its potential implications for clinical care.
