The APP Education Series offers diverse topics from clinical-based knowledge, pharmacological updates, professional development, and leadership skills targeted to the APP population. The aim of this program is to create an innovative early-career advanced practice professional development curriculum integrating multi-modal education and a professional learning community to support advanced practice professional identity formation, develop leadership skills, and promote resiliency and well-being.

Course Description: This course series will focus on compliance, billing, and documentation focusing on the role of the Advanced Practice Provider. The first course will focus on E&M documentation and billing in the ambulatory and inpatient environments including the updates from Center for Medicare Services (CMS) on new Split/Shared patient care visits. The second course will focus on non-E&M patient care services including critical care, procedures, wound vacs, and surgical co-assist.
