  1. To introduce posttraumatic stress disorder and its prevalence in underserved and minority populations.
  2. To describe the adverse consequences of trauma exposure and PTSD on health outcomes and risk behaviors.
  3. To discuss the rationale of administering PTSD treatment to high risk individuals in order to prevent the development/worsening of risk behavior and adverse health outcomes.
