This conference will allow dermatologists, physician assistants and nurse practitioners within Forefront Dermatology an opportunity to review and discuss the clinical and dermatopathologic aspects of interesting and difficult cases. Although our practice is large, with over 70 practitioners, we are spread over a large geographic area spanning six states, which makes in person collaboration and consultations difficult. Many of our practitioners see very challenging and rare cases and would benefit from the input of their colleagues on both diagnosis and management.
Using web based technology, we will be able to allow practitioners to collaborate in a way that would be impractical otherwise. This will be one of the largest if not the largest regular gathering of dermatologists and dermatology mid-level providers, which will allow each practitioner access to literally hundreds of years of experience, which will allow for improved patient care.
