This lectureship highlights research conducted by residents, fellows, and faculty at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW).

Target Audience

Orthopaedic alumni, faculty, residents, fellows, medical students, and allied health professionals interested in orthopaedic surgery research.

Learning Objectives

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Evaluate biomechanical differences among tested surgical techniques for coracoclavicular ligament reconstruction.
  • Identify risk factors associated with local recurrence of atypical lipomatous tumors of the extremity and apply this knowledge to guide postoperative surveillance strategies.
  • Evaluate the benefits of mini C‑arm fluoroscopy for closed reductions in the emergency department, including effects on efficiency and radiation exposure.
  • Evaluate the association between preoperative blood glucose levels and postoperative infection risk following total shoulder arthroplasty.
