Attendees of Pediatric Grand Rounds will learn from leading experts state-of-the art clinical and basic science knowledge in a wide variety of topics in pediatric medicine.  Information presented will enable attendees to remain current on best practices that improve their ability to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes.

      Learning objectives: 

      Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

      • Understand how The 17 Sustainable Development Goals  (SDG) were adopted by all UN Member States in 2015, as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which set out a 15-year plan to achieve the Goals.
      • Learn about SDG 3 (Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages) and the targets related to maternal mortality and preventable newborn deaths, including which countries are critical to global progress, the key drivers of maternal and newborn deaths, and the scope and scale of these drivers.
      • Gain insights into the role of private philanthropy - global and local - in supporting progress, particularly in relation to State actors/duty
