Attendees of Pediatric Grand Rounds will learn from leading experts state-of-the art clinical and basic science knowledge in a wide variety of topics in pediatric medicine.  Information presented will enable attendees to remain current on best practices that improve their ability to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes.

      Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

      • Identify as least three key challenges in the clinical care of pediatric patients with rare genetic diseases
      • Identify at least three key challenges in conducting clinical research with this patient community
      • Recognize how the characteristics of pediatric rare genetic disease raise unique ethical questions at the intersection of research and clinical care.
