Program Description: 

Attendees of Pediatric Grand Rounds will learn from leading experts state-of-the art clinical and basic science best available evidence in a wide variety of topics in pediatric medicine. Information presented will enable attendees to remain current on best practices that improve their ability to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  1. Understand the RTI process in schools and its role in the IEP determination process
  2. Understand the difference between a 504 plan and IEP
  3. Describe what a 504 plan is and the supports it provides
  4. Understand the components of an IEP and the supports it provides
  5. Identify the difference between a school evaluation and individual evaluation
