UTI in Children

Currently, there is no standardized graduate education or certification program for APNs or PAs focusing on Pediatric Hospital Medicine. APPs graduate their educational programs with a wide range of clinical experiences and variation in the quality of their training. APPs require “on the Job” training to build competency.  There are published recommended competencies in pediatric hospital medicine for physicians in training but currently there are no corresponding recommendations for training APPs.
