Asthma telemedicine is not the future It's now

Eau Claire, WI US
August 8, 2017

The use and merits of telemedicine are highly debated. In both rural and urban areas telemedicine can increase access to care and is something that many hospital systems are considering and/or testing. The purpose for holding this event in rural Wisconsin is to address the lack of access for patients to receive care. Many families drive an hour or more to reach a physician and telemedicine could help to narrow the access gap and improve  the overall quality of care.
