Program Description: 
This continuing education program is devised to deliver new information to those practicing within the discipline of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and it’s allied health partners.  Sessions will include updates in clinical information for those with disabilities as well as the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders.

Learning objectives: 

1. Distinguish analgesic strategies for cancer-related pain from chronic, non-malignant pain.
2. Identify 4 different types of cancer-related pain and how analgesic strategies must be adjusted.
3. Understand how prognosis guides opioid management decisions for cancer-related pain.
4. Learn 5 effective analgesic strategies for patients with pain related to advanced cancer.
